Sculpture

One of the "sculptures" in the new D terminal, this glass and aluminum construction is a series of segmented concentric circles. Embeded in the floor are lights with proximity sensors in them. When you walk over them the lights turn on and hidden speakers echo out strange jungle tones. The echoes, glass, and pulsing lights give a rather surreal and soothing atmosphere, quite an accomplishment in the middle of a busy airport.
