This is a work in progress shot from the crystal chamber. This scene employed scripted modeling extensively. I created a tool which would allow me to model, and then shatter, crystaline forms as desired. All of the large pieces could be re-assembled into a complete crystal, albiet missing a few chunks which have melted and re-crystalized as the smaller crystals floating in the periphery. The smaller crystal forms were also script generated, though everything was hand-tuned afterwords.
